ISS Facility Services is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Leading hand to join our team in a Full-Time role in Fairfield.

This role will support our frontline team to ensure smooth daily operations and site maintenance of the school, developing and facilitating quality control measures and supporting a team and ensuring conditions are met. As well as to undertake general administrative tasks, this role includes the tracking of cleaning work end-to-end through in-house system.

The Position:

  • Responsible for leading a team of 10+
  • Assisting management and support the cleaning team 
  • Carry out cleaning inspection, be responsible for Quality Control and service rotations
  • Review stock levels and complete the orders
  • Maintenance of cleaning records and compliance standards
  • Delivery of excellent customer service and positive communication to all customers

Minimum Criteria:

  • Must have (or be willing to obtain) a NSW Police clearance, within 3 months of issue
  • Must have (or be willing to obtain) a NSW Working with Children Check
  • Experience in cleaning operations; domestic, commercial or industrial
  • Demonstrated sound knowledge in floor maintenance and high-level cleaning with an eye for detail
  • Self-motivated and can demonstrate initiative on the job
  • Professional presentation and customer service
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and management.
