ISS Aviation & Transport is offering a new pathway into aviation security following recent legislative changes. As an Aviation Protection Officer (APO), you’ll play a critical role in keeping millions of passengers safe while delivering a high‑quality customer experience at one of Australia’s busiest airports.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct passenger and baggage screening prior to departure
- Control access to security‑sensitive areas
- Perform physical searches and identify prohibited items
- Manage passenger flow through screening points efficiently
- Make sound decisions under pressure
- Deliver consistent, professional customer service
What We’re Looking For
- Customer service experience or strong interest in aviation/security
- Willingness to complete Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP) (or already hold it)
- Ability to pass medical, drug, and alcohol screening
- Eligibility to obtain an ASIC (criminal history clearance – last 10 years)
- Victorian Security Licence (highly desirable)
- Unrestricted driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Availability across a 24/7 rotating roster
