We are currently seeking a Rostering Coordinator to join our high-performing Operations team on-site at Brisbane Airport. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy bringing structure to complexity, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
About The Position:
Reporting directly to the General Manager – Aviation Security, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless rostering and workforce planning for a dynamic 24/7 airport security operation. You'll be responsible for:
- Rostering for a 700-strong security team across multiple shifts and days in 24/7 operation
- Ensuring optimal resource coverage using Kronos (UKG) and Microsoft Office
- Managing day-to-day tasks including:
- Sick leave calls
- Annual leave requests
- Pay period close and payroll coordination
- Rostering in line with EA, contractual, KPI, and compliance requirements
- Providing support and resolution to pay, leave, and roster queries
- Compiling operational reports, including end-of-month data
- Coordinating and reconciling any ad hoc service accounts
- Maintaining accurate records and delivering exceptional internal service
What You Bring: Your Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience with multi-site or large-scale 24/7 rosters
- Advanced skills in Kronos (UKG) and Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to prioritise workload and multi-task to ensure work requirements are completed within expected timeframes.
- Working knowledge of and the ability to apply Award/Enterprise Agreement conditions when shift rostering.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Ability to work from site Monday to Friday
- Able to coach and mentor other Rostering Coordinators
- Must be able to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card – clean criminal history for the past 10 years)
