We are seeking enthusiastic Casual Chefs to join our Resources Catering Team locally in the Gladstone region. This flexible role is perfect for chefs residing nearby who are passionate about quality food and exceptional service.

Reporting to the Village Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all safety and quality processes are followed and exceed customer expectations in regard to a healthy and delicious food offering, whilst being in line with contractual requirements. The Head Chef will assist with managing a team and cater for a large number of residents, creating and preparing menus for all meals such as Breakfast, Dinner and Crib. This is a rare opportunity to display your passion, team management and culinary experience.

The Position:

  • Prepare meals across breakfast, dinner, crib, and desserts.

  • High-volume catering, including functions and cook-to-order service.

  • Ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in every dish.

Minimum Criteria:

  • Cert III in Commercial Cookery (essential).

  • Experience in bulk cooking preferred.

  • A passion for creating great food and delivering excellent service.

  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
