The Opportunity
ISS is seeking an experienced FIFO Housekeeping Supervisor to lead cleaning operations at our remote mining village in Central QLD. Working on a 9 days on / 5 days off FIFO roster, you’ll ensure our village accommodation and facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for all residents.
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of housekeeping staff to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
- Plan and coordinate daily and weekly cleaning schedules based on site requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture and build a positive team environment.
- Conduct regular room and facility inspections to ensure compliance and high standards.
- Manage stock control, cleaning supplies, equipment, and ordering.
- Work closely with the Site Manager and other departments to support smooth daily village operations.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to support their growth and performance.

What You Need:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Good understanding of cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and safety requirements.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
- A National Police Clearance (within the last 12 months).
- Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 (highly desirable).
