We are currently seeking a qualified Water Treatment Plant Operator—holding a QBCC Plumbers Licence—to join our expanding team in the Bowen Basin.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our client’s water treatment assets safely, professionally, and to the highest standards. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional results.

The Position

• Primary duties: Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations & Maintenance
• Secondary duties: Repairs and maintenance tasks requisite to skill set / trade qualifications as applicable.
• Initiative-taking demonstration of commitment to Zero Harm safety culture
• Performing work in a safe manner, abiding by our safe work procedures, instructions, and safety management practices
• Use safety equipment and personal protective equipment as provided.
• Proactively work to improve processes through continuous improvement and innovation.

Minimum Criteria

• Cert III in Water Operations {Water Treatment} 
• Open QBCC Plumbers License
• Current Open Driver’s License
• Ability to past a QLD Coal Board Medical
• Ability to past regular Drug & Alcohol Testing 
• Construction White Card (CPCCOHS1001A - Work safely in the construction industry or CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) – card must be issued after 2015 to be accepted
• Knowledge of safety issues relevant to the industry and a commitment to safe working practices
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to determine resource and material requirements and manage multiple activities at the same time.
