The opportunity:
We're seeking a FIFO Airport Reporting Officer from Perth and nearby suburbs to join our team on a fulltime basis at our site in regional Western Australia.
Working closely with village management, this position is responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of all aspects of the village airport.

At all times you will ensure compliance with all legislation and regulations. This will include day to day reporting, refuelling if required, ticketing, baggage handling, quality control and general maintenance duties as follows...
- Delivery of airport Terminal Operations - passenger check-in (Amadeus, IFIDS, Avsys, Icargo), radio calls and completion of flight manifests, load sheets, operational liaison with aircraft crew and staff from both mine and aircraft operations.
- Aerodrome Maintenance - Line Marking, Slashing/Mowing/Brush Cutting/Pruning, RWY & Apron Sweeping, Weed Management, minor fence repairs, etc.
- Daily & Weekly GSE Checks/Minor Maintenance.
- Daily & Weekly Housekeeping duties (Terminal, Offices, storerooms, containers, inventory checks, Carpark, etc.
- Conduct Airport Inductions for contractors, new staff and visitors.
- Airport Emergency Response - participate in aerodrome emergency response training with a focus on aviation emergency response.
- Airport Security - awareness of dangerous goods screening and airport security requirements.
- Managing dangerous goods movements.
You will need to be an all-rounder handling all aspects of arrivals & departures. Priorities and carry out maintenance as requested in line with all budgetary KPI’s on daily basis to ensure the smooth running of the Sites complete maintenance functions.
To be considered:
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
- Full understanding of CASA.
- Working knowledge of Aerodrome operations manuals.
- Airport reporting and a working understanding of NOTAM issue and review procedures.
- Trade Qualified
- Qualified to approve works carried out on site
- Full C Class Drivers Licence (No P Plates)
- Federal Police Clearance
- ASIC requirements
- First Aid certificate
