Our ISS Health Team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Cleaner at the Lyell McEwen Hospital located in Elizabeth Vale. We have a number of shifts available on a Part Time or Casual basis.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, staff and visitors to the hospital.
The role:
- Provide services to all departments, wards and public areas
- Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties
- Identifying and recording any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety
- Decontamination of surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff

- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

Minimum Criteria:
- Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diptheria, Hep B
- Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Current Police Clearance no older than 3 months is essential
- Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) is essential
