We have an exciting in-contract opportunity an experienced risk management professional to join our team as a Compliance Manager employed on a full time basis, based in Melbourne CBD, with some travel required within Victoria from time to time.

Reporting to Health Safety Quality Risk Manager, this key service support role provides compliance, assurance, risk advice and supports the contract in managing critical compliance obligations.

 The Position:

  • Deliver operational expertise and technical advice on compliance, assurance and risk management
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews ensuring standards are maintained, including identifying and assessing potential operational non-compliance and providing appropriate remedial measures and plans
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate information for the contract report and any other monthly reporting requirements both external and internal, aimed at continual improvement 
  • Ensure the compliance to our agreed contract with client and required regulatory compliance  
  • Monitor the effectiveness of controls to manage health and safety and business continuity risks 
  • Represent ISS as a professional and committed partner to the success and continuous improvement of the contract

Minimum Criteria:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in facility management, risk or compliance
  • Experience managing a geographically dispersed portfolio
  • Knowledge of occupational health & safety regulations, obligations & frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability managing stakeholder relationships
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant Australian property regulatory obligations and frameworks
  • Ability to work from office at least 4 days a week
  • Previous Defence or military experience highly desirable
