Our ISS Health Team is growing, and we are currently seeking casual Hospital Cleaners to service our site in Flinders Medical Centre (Bedford Park).

We are looking for individuals who are able to work across weekdays Monday to Friday, with shifts morning shifts beginning 6am and afternoon shifts starting at 6pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work early mornings or evening shifts
  • Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties
  • Decontamination of surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff
  • Identifying and recording any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety
  • Provide cleaning services in both patient and non-patient areas, adhering to infection control procedures, conducting waste removal, and undertaking infectious cleaning in designated areas

About you:

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
  • Ability to work early mornings or evening shifts
  • Ability to undergo a functional pre-employment medical
  • Police Clearance, or ability to obtain, is essential
  • Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain, is essential
  • Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diphtheria, Hep B, Polio or willingness to obtain, as per SA Health Worker policy is essential
