We’re looking for a Transformation Lead to be based in either our Melbourne CBD or Macquarie Park (Sydney) ISS Corporate offices on a 7 month fixed term contract.

The Transformation Lead is responsible for driving and overseeing strategic change initiatives across the facilities and asset management portfolio.

The role provides leadership in designing, coordinating, and delivering transformation programs that improve efficiency, service delivery, and alignment with organisational strategy. Acting as a bridge between strategy and operations, the Transformation Lead ensures people, processes, and systems are integrated to deliver sustainable outcomes and cultural adoption of new ways of working.

 

🔧 What You’ll Do

  • Lead business transformation projects including technology adoption, system integration, digital enablement, and training programs.
  • Drive cultural change by embedding continuous improvement and innovation mindsets across the business.
  • Govern the Work Task Management (WTM) process to ensure Service Requests and Work Task (WT) are managed consistently across the organisation.
  • Implement reporting and governance mechanisms to track task performance and operational KPIs. 
  • Monitor and refine task management workflows to improve response times, resolution rates, resource utilisation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure WTM systems (FMS@ISS) are optimised to support accurate data capture and reporting.
  • Partner with executives, operations teams, IT, and external partners to ensure transformation initiatives are fit for purpose and well-adopted.
  • Work closely with operational managers and technicians to ensure task workflows align with frontline needs and service delivery expectations.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

  • 5 years + experience in facilities, infrastructure, or asset-intensive industries.
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Asset Management, or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, business transformation, or operational management from a larger organisation.
  • Formal qualifications in Lean 6 Sigma or Change Management.
  • Strong knowledge of Work Task Management processes and supporting systems (e.g., CMMS, EAM, ERP, FM software).
  • Proven success in delivering end-to-end process optimisation and transformation programs.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent facilitator with the ability to lead workshops and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Passion for driving innovation and embedding continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership, influencing skills, and resilience for managing complex change.

 

Compliance requirement - Australian Citizen & ability to gain a Defence Baseline Clearance
