Our team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Training & Compliance Coordinator at Melbourne Airport employed on a full time basis.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Training & Compliance Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring ISS delivers high‑quality compliance training, onboarding and learning programs for our Air Cargo workforce across Australia.

You will lead and support teams nationally to ensure all training, accreditation and compliance obligations are met, while fostering a high‑performing, safety‑focused and customer‑centric team culture. This role is ideal for an experienced aviation trainer or compliance professional who enjoys building capability, improving processes, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

 The Position:

  • Attend client meetings to discuss operational and training matters.
  • Deliver Certificate II in Transport Security Protection to ISS employees.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the CISC Screener Accreditation Scheme and support employees to remain compliant.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
  • Ensure governance by accurately recording all coaching, audits, inspections and training activities within ISS systems.
  • Support recruitment and facilitate the onboarding of new team members, ensuring they are welcomed, inducted and compliant.
  • Maintain training records and administer the ISS Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Coordinate with rostering teams to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.

Minimum Criteria:

 
  • Experience in aviation security, compliance or training (highly regarded).
  • Certificate II TSP Trainer accreditation or the ability to obtain it.
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulatory frameworks and accreditation schemes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to lead, coach and inspire operational teams.
  • Strong organisational and reporting skills with a commitment to accuracy and governance.
  • Passion for delivering great customer service and building engaged teams.
