We have an opportunity for a Facility Manager to join our team in Melbourne on a Full-Time basis.  The indicative salary for the position is $70,000 plus superannuation.

This role will see will be directly responsible for the ensuring the delivery of a number of services including Patient Services Assistant tasks, cleaning, waste management, food distribution etc at VCCC and Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne.

  • Ensure communications between the client and ISS are managed and developed .
  • Ensure ISS staff and subcontractors comply with relevant legislative and award provision as they apply to the delivery of services at VCCC and Royal Women’s Hospital.
  • Ensure ISS staff and subcontractors demonstrate they are achieving contractual service targets.
  • Ensure the effective resolution of contractual and service non-performance issues by managing a process of problem identification, corrective action and resolution.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Quality, OHS&E System (BMS) and achieving systems contractual service targets.
  • Ensure project work, administrative matters and correspondence related to the provision of services at VCCC and Royal Women’s Hospital are delivered in a timely and accurate manner
  • Foster, manage and maintain a harmonious industrial relations culture and climate through industrial awareness, leadership and motivational qualities.
  • Effectively manage the traineeship program undertaken at VCCC and Royal Women’s Hospital to meet staff training and budgetary requirements;
  • Ensure patient and client confidentiality is regularly and effectively maintained and monitored
  • Ensure continued customer satisfaction through surveys and consultative meetings/committees.
  • Undertake any other duties within the person’s capacity that support the team.
  • Contribute and participate in continuous improvement opportunities.

 

Requirements:

Candidates should possess an appropriate diploma level qualification and have three years relevant experience.  Experience providing facility management services within a hospital is preferred.
