Our team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position as an Aviation Training Officer at our Brisbane Airport location, employed on a Full-Time basis.

The Position:

  • The Training Officer will be onsite in the Brisbane Airport five days a week
  • Responsible for conducting training and assessment activities for internal training programs
  • Oversee day to day operations on site and ensure correct procedures are followed through
  • Deliver internal face-to-face training in accordance with set timeframes and schedules
  • Notify relevant stakeholders of training and/or assessment outcomes.
  • Delivery of excellent customer service and positive communication to all trainees
  • All other reasonable tasks as directed by the Training Coordinator or Training Manager

Minimum Criteria:

  • Certificate IV Workplace Assessment and Training (TAE40116 or equivalent)
  • Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (can be provided internally if not already held)
  • Relevant screening experience to meet RTO requirements as a trainer/assessor.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Previous experience in aviation or security screening highly desired 
  • Sound reporting history/performance record as a workplace mentor
  • Compliance and safety focused attitude
  • Participate in training or assessment development.
  • A positive and proactive approach with outstanding interpersonal skills
