Our team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position as an Aviation Training Officer at our Brisbane Airport location, employed on a Full-Time basis.
The Position:
- The Training Officer will be onsite in the Brisbane Airport five days a week
- Responsible for conducting training and assessment activities for internal training programs
- Oversee day to day operations on site and ensure correct procedures are followed through
- Deliver internal face-to-face training in accordance with set timeframes and schedules
- Notify relevant stakeholders of training and/or assessment outcomes.
- Delivery of excellent customer service and positive communication to all trainees
- All other reasonable tasks as directed by the Training Coordinator or Training Manager

Minimum Criteria:
- Certificate IV Workplace Assessment and Training (TAE40116 or equivalent)
- Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (can be provided internally if not already held)
- Relevant screening experience to meet RTO requirements as a trainer/assessor.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Previous experience in aviation or security screening highly desired
- Sound reporting history/performance record as a workplace mentor
- Compliance and safety focused attitude
- Participate in training or assessment development.
- A positive and proactive approach with outstanding interpersonal skills
