In this role as the National Manager Internal Controls & ESG Reporting you will be responsible for reporting on our ESG goals for Australia and New Zealand as part of our evolving global framework.  The role works across a diverse portfolio of segments and business functions in ensuring appropriate and mature controls and processes are in place in compliance with the global control catalogue. 

 

Position Type: Full-Time
Work Location: Any Capital city in Australia or New Zealand, eligible for hybrid work program.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders on the integrity and quality of the ESG and Controls Data points.
  • Create reports/summaries on the gaps
  • Analyse data and makes recommendations to leadership on actions that could be implemented to address emerging trends.
  • Develop and maintain understanding of ESG Reporting industry trends, and regulatory changes impacting ESG reporting.
  • Work with ESG Data and Control owners to develop plans, mitigation, and targets to address gaps.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
  • Maintain the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality in the performance of duties

  • Ability to interpret complex data sets to spot issues and inconsistencies.
  • Ability to analyse data and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and adopt organisational frameworks, systems and processes.
  • Ability to identify, collate and apply regulatory requirements in a practical way.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and self-motivated
  • Six Sigma or other Quality related qualifications.

•     Excellent knowledge of Excel and reporting tools
•     Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Experience

  • Track record of stakeholder engagement, including building relationships with internal/external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Track record of reporting and presenting information in digestible snapshots.
  • Experience in process improvement and design
  • Experience in leading, defining, managing and delivering a portfolio compliance-driven activities across for diverse range of stakeholder groups in a complex organisation.
  • Experience communicating difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

 

Qualifications/Education:

• Possession of an appropriate qualification in a finance, accounting, science, business, or other relevant discipline.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
