We are currently seeking a self-motivated, energetic and resourceful Recruitment Coordinator to join our in-house recruitment team on a Permanent Full-time basis. Reporting into the General Manager – People and Culture, you will be supporting our operational manning requirements across Queensland. As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination and administration of the recruitment process and pre-employment training programs. You will be based in our regional office located in Murarrie, Brisbane with flexibility to work from home part of the week.  As part of the People & Culture team you will work with and support our site managers and operations managers in achieving their recruitment outcomes.

The successful candidate may occasionally attend our client sites to support volume recruitment activities held onsite and will also handle general recruitment and HR related queries.

This is an ideal role for someone with previous recruitment experience or a recent graduate in Human Resources looking for their first opportunity or growth in the HR space.

 

Key tasks include:

  • Recruiting a variety of entry level front line employees and supervisory roles;
  • Actively managing recruitment campaigns and  talent pipelines to ensure minimal delay from vacancy to placement;
  • Communicating effectively with operational managers to coordinate interview and placement processes remotely;
  • Sourcing, phone screening, compliance validation and onboarding;
  • Handling general HR related queries.

Minimum Criteria:

  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with the proven ability to multi-task and operate successfully under tight deadlines and time pressures;
  • High level computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point & Email);Work without supervision and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail;
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • High level interpersonal skills
  • Recruitment, Selection, and Mentoring competencies
  • Experience with electronic recruitment systems (highly desirable)
