At ISS, we connect people and places to make the world work better. We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Cleaner to join our team supporting a residential precinct in Brisbane. This role combines general cleaning duties with buggy operation and waste transportation responsibilities to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

The Position

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services while operating a site buggy to transport waste bins as part of the daily waste management process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating a buggy to transport 1100L waste bins to designated collection points and returning them to bin rooms after servicing
• Performing routine and periodic cleaning tasks to a high standard
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and ensuring safe operation of all machinery
• Following site work schedules and supervisor instructions
• Maintaining a safe work environment and complying with ISS health, safety and environmental requirements
• Reporting maintenance issues and operational concerns as required
• Providing excellent customer service while working in occupied environments

Minimum Criteria

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid Queensland Full Driver's Licence
• Previous commercial cleaning or facilities services experience
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach 

Highly Regarded

• Experience operating utility vehicles or buggies
• Experience transporting waste bins or waste management duties
• Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) or similar qualification.
