We are seeking applicants with Catering, Restaurant or Café experience to join our ISS team in Moorebank employed on a 24 hours/week Monday to Friday Part-Time basis.

Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Assist with food preparation duties as directed by the Food & Beverage Manager
• Take and process customer orders, including food and beverages
• Provide menu recommendations and answer customer questions
• Operate POS system including cash and EFTPOS transactions
• Restocking items as needed
• Monitor stock levels and record equipment operating temperatures
• Maintain clean work areas, equipment, and service stations through regular cleaning cycles
• Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling practices are followed
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards , good personal hygiene practices, such as regular handwashing
• Comply with Workplace Health & Safety requirements
• Support the Food & Beverage Manager as required

What you can offer:

• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or catering environment
• Reliable personal transport is required due to the site’s location
• Police Check dated within 12 months
• Experience operating POS systems (preferred, training provided)
• Barista experience or certificate (preferred, training provided)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• High standard of personal presentation and hygiene
• Strong focus on safety and compliance
