We have an exciting opening for a Compliance Manager to join our team at our location Perth Airport.
Reporting directly to the GM Aviation Security, the Compliance Manager is responsible for maintaining legislative and regulatory aviation security compliance across ISS Perth Airport operations. This role will work with the site leadership team to foster the ongoing development of best practice compliance within the increasingly complex aviation environment. This role will be an advocate for the ISS Vision and Values and will demonstrate the ISS Leadership Principles at all times.
The Position:
- Operate as a Lead Manager within the site
- Responsible for the monitoring and reporting all Aviation Security regulatory compliance across ISS Perth Airport operations
- Conduct audits and compliance inspections across all operational areas
- Lead investigations into compliance breaches and provide timely recommendations
- Ensure staff are compliant with internal policies and procedures and suitably trained to perform their functions
- Ability to analyse information/evidence and recommend appropriate compliance actions under relevant legislation
- Timely reporting of all compliance related issues and results to the General Manager
- Champion change - challenge the status quo & champion continuous measurable improvement
- Maintain a close and collaborative working relationship with the national compliance team, client and other members of the site management team
Minimum Criteria:
- Diploma or Degree in Security Risk Management, or other relevant tertiary qualification or suitable aviation experience
- Auditing experience within a highly regulated environment highly desirable
- High level of both verbal and written communication
- Ability to work within a team environment and influence change.
- Have sound understanding of the compliance and legislative requirements surrounding airport security
- Ability to obtain an ASIC (currently hold an ASIC)
- Have a current WA Security Licence
- Strong Leadership, commercial and organisational knowledge
- High level of computer literacy
- Willing to obtain Certificate II in Transport Security Protection OR currently hold a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection
