We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced Cleaning Trainers and Assessors based in either Coffs Harbour or Port Macquarie, on a Full Time permanent basis. Although this role is based in Coffs Harbour or Port Macquarie, the ideal candidate must be willing to travel to various sites across the North Coast of New South Wales.

The Position:

  • Deliver Training and Assessment services to ISS Trainees undertaking the national qualification - Certificate III in Cleaning Operations.
  • Establish and maintain a healthy working relationship with customers, both external and internal.
  • Use a variety of training methods including face to face on-site training and assessment in a variety of workplace locations and provide support at all times to the training requirements.
  • Manage the delivery of training services to students and record their written answers and practical workplace observations.
  • Act as the focal point for all training requirements with trainees and their operational and shift work requirements.
  • Actively seek opportunities to enhance ISS processes and implementation ideas for ongoing improvement.
  • Liaise with the RTO responsible for the recording of the training enrolments, results and student progression to ensure timely progression across the traineeship program.
  • Will be required to travel to all areas across our North Coast cleaning portfolio which extends up to Tweed Heads.

The successful candidate will hold or demonstrate the key skills below:

  • Team orientated, enthusiastic and passionate to enhance the skills of others.
  • Thorough knowledge of cleaning of commercial premises, hotels or public and government premises desirable.
  • Proven training experience in cleaning, facility management or similar.
  • Culturally diverse and able to communicate clearly often with team members and student where English is a second language.
  • Hold a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle and able to travel across various North Coast sites.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to pass NSW Police Clearance and Federal criminal background checks.
  • Hold or able to obtain a NSW Working with Children Card.
  • Must hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent (TAE40110, LLN and TAEASS502)
  • Hold Industry qualifications in cleaning such as Certificate III in Cleaning Operations (CPP30316) or a similar version in Asset Maintenance and have recent training experience.
  • A strong work ethic to drive the training program and liaise with the ISS Operations Teams, Recruitment and RTO staff.
