Our ISS Health Team is growing, and we are currently seeking an experienced CSSD Technician to join us at Modbury Hospital, on a part-time basis. 

The position: 

  • Collection, cleaning, assembly, packing and disinfection or sterilisation of instruments and holloware, including Endoscopes and Colonoscopes. 
  •  Knowledge of a range of instruments, sterilising methods, and infection control principles. 
  • Understanding and ability to adhere to AS 5369:2023 and infection control principles. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to quality improvement, best practice and customer service. 

  

Essential Criteria: 

  • Certificate III in Sterilisation Services. 
  • Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diptheria, Hep B, Polio, or ability to obtain.
  • Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays. 
  • Current Police Clearance no older than 3 months, or ability to obtain.
  • Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC), or ability to obtain.
