Our team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of a Cleaner at our location Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre employed on a Full Time basis.

The Position:

• Cleaners provide services to all departments, wards and public areas
• Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties
• Identifying and recording any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety
• Decontamination of surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff
• Shift timings  - 11pm - 6:30am

Minimum Criteria:

• You must be able to work within a 24/7 rotating roster
• Previous experience in a similar role within a health care facility is highly desirable
• Must hold a valid Working with Children Card
• Valid Police Check within 3 months
• Have ALL 3 COVID Vaccinations
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
