ISS is currently seeking an experienced Grounds Supervisor to lead grounds and external maintenance services at our Rolleston mining village. This role is responsible for supervising daily grounds operations, ensuring contract compliance, safety leadership, and maintaining high presentation standards across the village.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supervise daily grounds operations across the mining village
• Maintain gardens, lawns, pathways, and external village areas to contract standards
• Coordinate mowing, weed spraying, grounds cleaning, waste, and landfill activities
• Ensure maintenance programs and schedules are delivered in line with contract requirements
• Lead safety compliance, safe work practices, and risk management on site
• Conduct inspections and report on grounds condition and required improvements
• Allocate tasks, support training, and provide leadership to grounds team members
• Assist with general hand, utility, and kitchen duties as required by site operations
• Liaise with site management to ensure service delivery expectations are met
• Uniform (including safety boots provided)

Minimum Criteria:

• Full working rights in Australia
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable transport to site
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance (mowing, weed spraying, general grounds works)
• Proven Supervisory or leadership experience 
• Strong understanding of Safe Work Practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-managed environment
• Physically fit and conditioned to Central Queensland weather conditions
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Commitment to safety and compliance with site standards
• Ability to pass a functional pre-employment medical, Drug & Alcohol Test and Police Clearance
• Queensland Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
