This role is ideal for current ISS employees who are passionate about training others, developing their own leadership skills, and looking for a consistent Monday–Friday (8am–4pm) schedule with weekends off.
As a Training Coordinator, you'll be a key part of our Aviation Security team, delivering high-quality, hands-on training to new and existing staff. Reporting to the Training Manager, you’ll help maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance by guiding team members through the Certificate II in Transport Security Protection course and supporting their ongoing development.

About The Position:
You will be responsible for conducting training and assessment activities for internal training programs (Certificate II Transport Security Protection) and overseeing day to day operations onsite and ensure correct procedures are followed through.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the Certificate II in Transport Security Protection to new ISS Aviation Security staff
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support for current team members
- Support the development and implementation of training plans in line with compliance requirements
- Liaise with the Contract Manager and stakeholders on training outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and reporting in accordance with ISS and client standards
- Promote a positive learning culture across the team
What We’re Looking For:
The Training Coordinator will be delivering the Certificate II Transport Security Protection course therefore, it is a requirement that you have this qualification and minimum 6 months screening experience.
Minimum requirements:
- Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (essential)
- Relevant screening experience (to meet RTO requirements as a trainer/assessor aviation passenger/baggage screening)
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) – (Internal staff) demonstrated aptitude and ability to complete Cert IV TAE (supported by ISS)
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate others
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and service excellence.
- Participate in training or assessment development.
- A positive and proactive approach with outstanding interpersonal skills.
