Our ISS Health Team is growing and we are currently seeking a Chef to join us in a permanent part-time position on site at Modbury Hospital.
The role:
- Complete meal preparation to the highest standards, ensuring a high level of food safety and quality.
- Produce meals in line with recipes and dietary plans.
- Ensure food is stored and handled as per food health safety and hygiene requirements.
- Interact positively with our client to ensure high levels of customer service.
- Contribute to the health and safety culture by following WHS standards.
Role requirements:
- Australian Trade Certification or Cert III in Commercial Cookery is essential.
- Allrounder experience across pastries, crib, mains, breakfast and grab and go options.
- High volume catering, including bulk catering and function/banquet experience.
- Ability to pass full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Ability or willingness to provide evidence of immunisation for Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diptheria, and Polio, as per SA Health worker requirements is essential.
- Current Police Clearance, or ability to obtain no older than 3 months is essential.
- Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) is essential.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service.
