Expressions of Interest for various Utilities - All Rounders (Housekeepers, Dining Room Attendants, Tavern Attendants and Kitchen Hands) to join our team at a mining village , DIDO from Bowen Basin or regional QLD.

Position:

  • Perform a variety of tasks, including housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service, and tavern operations.
  • Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for village residents. Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet service standards and exceed customer expectations.
  • Uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency in all areas of responsibility.

Minimum Criteria:

  • Previous experience working in a remote setting desired.
  • Hold a valid police check issued within 3 months or willingness to obtain one.
  • Have a proactive and solutions-focused approach to ensure operations run smoothly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass a Queensland Coal Board Medical and Functional Assessment. 
  • Standard 11 surface mining induction or willing to obtain.
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate desired.
  • RSA Certificate desired.

*Must reside in Bowen Basin or regional QLD.
