We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and management of policies and compliances across within the NSW Goverment contract.

As the Compliance and Quality Manager, your role will entail a multitude of tasks related to Quality and Compliance, Auditing, Training, WHS and operational Requirements, both legislated and contractual compliance requirements are met and maintained across all sites and site types. 

Your duties and responsibilities will entail:

  • Compliance inspections at all Government Sites across Sydney Metro, Southwest Sydney and North Coast regions to ensure adherence contract and legislative requirements.
  • Ability to priorities workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Identifying and removing all hazards from site. 
  • Overseeing cleaning of sites to ensure overall quality and service delivery
  • Meeting the criteria of ISS 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines
  • Evaluate on site compliance behaviors and support the site teams in learning and development, escalate any non-conformance to KAM or Operations Manager.
  • Review and update site registers as required including site risk assessments, chemical registers, MSDS and escalate short falls or non-conformance.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home within the contract areas.
  •  Pro-actively assist in the development of a culture that is consistent with the ISS corporate objectives and supports the Operation Team by being team focused and having a ‘can-do’ approach

 

Required skills and qualifications:

  • To be highly organized and possess great time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comply with all health, safety and environmental (HSE) legislation, Regulations and Codes of Practice, as well as Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Policy and Standards relevant to area of responsibility
