We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maintenance Officer that will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the client facilities by performing a range of general duties including repairs and maintenance works, grounds support, waste management. Will report to sites Facility Managers.

The Maintenance Officer would travel between sites in Broadford, Campbellfield, Altona and Mulgrave.

Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will use your experience to deliver:

  • General maintenance and repairs
  • Carry out weekly site inspections to identify, report and action faults and items for repair, report defects to Facility Manager
  • Keeping an up-to-date inventory of spare parts and consumables on site, and order additional as required
  • Landscape / Grounds maintenance support such as Zero Turn Mower operation (grass cutting), Brush cutting, edging, weeding and clean up
  • Carry out waste inspections to identify waste that requires collection and removal

 

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Previous experience working in a maintenance role
  • Qualifications in the following is highly regarded but not essential:
    • Plumbing
    • Building / Construction / Carpentry
    • Mechanical
    • EWP licenses
    • Forklift license
  • Experience identifying and procuring resources and materials required for maintenance tasks
  • Self-motivated and reliable, able to work unsupervised
  • Strong safety mindset and a high attention to detail at all times
  • A flexible approach to work and be adaptable in a daily changing environment
  • Excellent personal presentation and punctuality
  • Ability to meet Deadlines or work to timeframes
  • Strong Communication Skills
