The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Chefs to join our Resources A La Carte Bistro Team at our Leinster Village Mining Camp as a Sous Chef or a Head Chef on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off Fly-in-fly-Out basis, flying from Perth to our growing site in regional Western Australia. The Salary range for these roles is approximately $98,000.00 to $107,000.00 + Super + Bonus.

Reporting to the Executive Chef and Site Village Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all safety and quality processes are followed and exceed customer expectations in regards to a healthy and delicious food offering, whilst being in line with contractual requirements. 

What we are looking for:

  • Australian Trade Certification or Cert III in Commercial Cookery (essential).
  • Experience as a Senior Chef in a commercial kitchen (essential).
  • High volume catering, including bulk catering and function/banquet experience.
  • A la carte experience (essential)
  • Experience in a mining village operation preferred but all professional kitchen experience considered.
  • Ability to work to client expectations.
  • Experience driving a safe and productive work culture.
  • Creative periodical menu planning and implementation.
  • Training and development of existing kitchen staff.
  • Able to work a flexible roster of up to 2 weeks at a time.
  • Current Police Clearance or willing to obtain one.
