Within our Education Portfolio, we have an exciting new opportunity for two Facilities and Community Co-Ordinator to join our team on a Full Time Basis: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm.  The Super Schools is located in Angle Vale.

Reporting to the Senior Caretaker for SA Schools PPP, you as the Facilities and Community Co-Ordinator will form an integral part of the school community and is the key member of ISS’s service delivery team.

The role is ideal for someone with community services / co-ordination experience; will suit an energetic and extremely motivated professional to drive our service and excellence culture.

The role has two primary functions:

  • Co-Ordinating the use of the school facilities by School, Council and Community users and manage bookings for shared council and community use spaces
  • Co-Ordinating the planned and reactive services provided by ISS on-site service team and subcontractors to achieve the objectives and performance outcomes of the contracted services for the schools.

 Experienced candidates will be considered if they have the following skills:

  • Proven experience in Managing a Help Desk and act as the primary notification interface for all stakeholders
  • Proven experience in supervising project work or related discipline
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Safe Work Practices (SWP)
  • Superior time management/organisational skills
  • Proven experience developing and facilitating on-site training
  • Client liaison, relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated communication skills verbal and non-verbal
  • Problem identification and resolution skills, developing fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Data interpretation and report writing experience
  • Experience and exposure to HSE Coordination for a site

 To successfully join the team you will have:

  • National Police Check – within THREE (3) months is essential for all ISS roles
  • SA issued DHS Working with Children Check is essential
  • A current driver’s license
  • Knowledge of facilities contract management in an Education environment (Desirable)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • A great attitude and willingness to contribute to our TEAM success
  • Ability to work independently and use your initiative
