Our ISS Health Team have a number of exciting opportunities for;  Chef x 1, Café Supervisors x 4 and Barista Professionals x 10; to work in a cafe serving visitors, patients and staff at Flinders Medical Centre.

For the successful Chef you will be employed on a Permanent Part Time basis working 30-35 hours per week.

For the successful Café Supervisor and Barista Professionals you will be employed on a Perm Part Time basis with shifts offered 20 to 38 hours per week.

General responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of food and beverages to customer expectations;
  • Ensure all food and beverages are prepared and served according to standard recipes;
  • Manage the daily service of food and beverages to customers throughout the day;
  • Ensure all areas are fully stocked during services periods, including food items, drink dispensers, crockery, cutlery and consumables;
  • Maintain stock levels including stock takes;
  • Ensure all cash handling is accurate and is in line with the cash handling process.

Minimum Criteria:

  • COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate outlining Full vaccination is required. As a service provider, ISS must comply with all public health directives and client requirements. Medical exemptions will apply
  • FMC – Health Care Worker form and Supporting Immunisation Evidence
  • Your Availability will be Monday to Sunday, including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a health care facility is highly desirable
  • Current Police Clearance no older than 3 months is essential for ALL roles
  • Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) is essential for ALL Roles
  • Food Handlers Certificate (Do Food Safely) is required for Catering roles
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
  • Genuine interest in working with can caring for people
  • Willingness to train and work in various departments of a health care facility
  • Willingness to own and maintain a smart phone
