Our team is constantly growing within our ISS Health Division, and we are looking for skilled Chef's to join our team.  Ideally the successful applicant will be hands on, which will stand out for a highly motivated and passionate Chef looking to provide food services to our sites.

Our Hospital locations and positions we have available are:

Flinders Medical Centre, Bedford Park - Cleaning and Catering Services

ECH - Cottage Grove - Catering Services

Modbury Hospital – Cleaning, Ward Support and Catering Services

Repatriation General Hospital, Daw Park – Catering Services

The Position:

  • Utilise your Chef Trade to cook and deliver quality food
  • Hands on role leading by example to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Sole Chef role with responsibility to work at pace and under pressure
  • Ability to follow recipes and strict dietary requirements
  • Undertake all required reporting including compliance and safety
  • Strong understanding and commitment to Health and Safety and the delivery of safe food practices at all times

Minimum Criteria:

  • COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate outlining Full vaccination is required. As a service provider, ISS must comply with all public health directives and client requirements. Medical exemptions will apply
  • Availability to work on an on call basis, including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a health care facility is highly desirable
  • Current Police Clearance no older than 3 months is essential for ALL roles
  • Current Working with Children Check and Food Handlers Certificate is required for Food Services roles
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
  • Genuine interest in working with can caring for people
  • Willingness to train and work in various departments of a health care facility
  • Willingness to own and maintain a smart phone
