Our team is constantly growing within Box Hill Hospital, and we are seeking people to join us in the position of a Cleaner at our Box Hill location employed on a Casual basis.

The Position:

• Cleaners provide services to all departments, wards and public areas
• Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties
• Identifying and recording any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety
• Decontamination of surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff
• Shift times - morning shift 7am– 2:30pm Monday - Friday

Minimum Criteria:

• You must be able to work within a 24/7 rotating roster
• Previous experience in a similar role within a health care facility is highly desirable
• Must hold a valid Police Check and a WWCC
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
• Genuine interest in working with can caring for people
