Our team is growing and we currently have a role on offer for a Procurement Specialist - Food & Beverage, employed on a Full Time basis.  This opportunity can be located in one of our national offices, either Melbourne CBD, Perth (Balcatta) or Sydney (Macquarie Park).

The Procurement Specialist F&B is part of a dynamic team that works seamlessly with all parts of the business and is willing to challenge the status quo, offer solutions and build better foundations for business growth.

The role is responsible for managing procurement activities in concert with the Category Manager, support delivery of Category Plan, engaging with suppliers regularly, operational engagement and commercial tender support.

The Position:

  • Managed assigned projects ‘end to end’ with key stakeholder management to ensure successful implementation of a projects
  • Compile analytical data and solutions to inform the Category Manager of the potential project saving strategies
  • Execute the tendering and negotiation of designated products & services in a timely manner to deliver savings
  • Generally, support the development and delivery of the Food & Beverage Category Plan
  • Foster good relationships with operational representatives
  • Meet with supplier to discuss performance to ISS’s criteria to drive service excellence and continuous improvement across the portfolio
  • Lead and coordinate the procurement effort for specific tenders, engaging Category Managers as required to supply required information

Minimum Criteria:

  • Commercial procurement experience working in a matrix organisation
  • Leading projects or transitions with large matrix cross functional teams
  • 2 years’ experience using procurement methodologies to drive cost savings
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced analytical skills, strong verbal and numeric reasoning
  • Ability to effectively dissect information and identify key issues and opportunities
  • Effectively prioritises and meets deadlines
  • Able to deal with multiple issues, pressures and deadlines concurrently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and high level of customer service skills
  • A positive “can-do” attitude, continuously ambitious; creates, develops and takes ownership of the tasks set out

Desirable Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in a business related discipline.
  • CIPS qualified or working towards completion.
  • Procurement experience in the Facilities Management or Building Construction industry
  • Digital procurement experience with a leading P2P platform
