Exciting opportunity for a Canteen Site Supervisor to join us at our site located in the Wacol, employed on a Day shift Monday to Friday, Full Time basis.
The Position:
- Prior canteen experience preferably in a fast paced environment
- Proven supervisory experience within a small to medium team
- Review stock levels and complete orders as required
- Scheduling of ongoing maintenance programs for all periodical cleaning
- Supervision of canteen assistants in relation to day to day sales
- Carry out cleaning inspection, be responsible for quality control and service rotations
- Receive and respond to emails as required
- Issuing and managing staff rosters and time sheets

Minimum Criteria:
- Experience supervising employees ideally within a commercial kitchen environment
- Previous food and beverages experience
- Sound experience and understanding of special dietary requirements
- Computer Literacy
- Sound written and verbal English and numeracy skills
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, being able to lead and guide a team in a complex and at times demanding environment
- Able to provide a clean criminal history check
- Food Supervisors certificate
- Knowledge of ISO 9002 and 22000 Standards/HACCP/Equip
