We currently have an exciting position available for an experienced administrative and rostering specialist, based at Gold Coast Airport.

Reporting to the Site Operation’s Manager Aviation Security, the Roster Coordinator will be responsible for managing the day to day rostering of Queensland Airports, including; Mt Isa, Townsville, Emerald, Rockhampton and Gold Coast.

The Position:

  • Rostering security operations ensuring effective and efficient resourcing models and shift coverage
  • Roster employees based on current enterprise agreements, contractual requirements, service levels and KPI’s
  • Manage sick leave calls and ensure shift coverage
  • Assist with Pay Period close each fortnight
  • Efficiently assist with pay, leave and any shift related enquiries
  • Compile required reports and data including end of month information
  • Prepare and monitor any accounts that may be required for any adhoc services and reconcile accordingly
  • Operate and manage relevant computer applications and systems (Kronos and Microsoft Office)
  • Perform general administration duties as required

Minimum Criteria:

  • Experience with multi-site rostering
  • Previous experience using an electronic time keeping system (Kronos would be advantageous)
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Strong administrative and computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions within a regulated environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
