Our team is growing and we currently seeking people to join us in the position of Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator for our Bowen Basin Site DIDO or FIFO. These are full time positions with various rosters available.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities include: 

 

  1. Primary duties – Waste Water Treatment Plant Operations & Maintenance
  2. Secondary duties – Repairs and maintenance tasks requisite to skill set / trade qualifications as applicable
  3. Proactive demonstration of commitment to Zero Harm culture
  4. Performs work in a safe manner, abiding by legislated safe work procedures, instructions and safety management practices
  5. Participate in the call out roster and attend emergency call outs as required
  6. Use safety equipment and personal protective equipment as provided
  7. Proactively work to improve processes through continuous improvement and innovation

 

Candidates will possess the following experience and qualifications:

 

  1. Cert III in Water Operations {Water Treatment} Ref NWP 30107{desirable but not essential}
  2. Open QBCC Plumbers License {desirable but not essential}
  3. Current Open Driver’s License
  4. Construction Induction White Card or equivalent
  5. Knowledge of safety issues relevant to the industry and a commitment to safe working practices
  6. Good verbal and written communication skills
  7. Ability to determine resource and material requirements and managing multiple activities at the same time.
