Our team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Claims & Injury Manager at our Marleston Office, employed on a Full Time basis.

 The Position:

  • Receive and process workers compensation claims and associated documentation in accordance with the Return To Work Act 2014 and the ReturnToWorkSA Self-Insurance Performance Standards and Code of Conduct for Self-Insured Organisation
  • End to end claims management from early intervention including injury management, return to work planning and implementation as well as team workers compensation programs and strategy
  • Responsible for ensuring the management of claim activities are within required timeframes
  • Participation in medical case conferences with injured workers and their treating medical practitioners to provide safe, timely and durable return to work of ISS employee’s
  • Support ISS staff to manage and increase awareness of workers compensation and return to work responsibilities and accountabilities within the business
  • Assist with all enquiries in relation to workers compensation matters and claims from injured workers and Managers/Supervisors
  • Co-ordinate and implement the workplace injury management policy, procedures and programs
  • Facilitate the return to work of injured staff by developing and implementing recovery and return to work plans and return to work schedules
  • Maintain worker’s compensation records and filing using the claims database.
  • Calculating and processing income support payments and approving and processing of claim invoices in line with entitlements
  • Conduct regular claims review meetings
  • Monitor effectiveness of services providers including medical and allied health practitioners.
  • General administrative duties associated with the management of the portfolio.

Minimum Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in worker’s compensation claims and case management
  • Current SA Drivers Licence
  • Demonstrated knowledge of RTW legislation
  • Understanding medical terminology

Please Note: Previous experience in a self-insured organisation is desired however not essential for this role.
