We are currently seeking a Supplier Assurance Manager to be located in our ISS Sydney Office, to be employed on a Full Time basis.

 The Position:

ISS is on a strategic transformation journey to increase our focus on delivering Integrated FM services to our Key Accounts in a consistent manner. A part of this, we need to work with suppliers and subcontractors who are aligned with ISS and its customer’s values, to ensure compliance to ISS’ standards and policies.

Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain for the Pacific, this position will play a key role as part of this transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To drive a consistent Supplier Relationship Management programme for the Supply Chain & Procurement Function, the wider business and suppliers.
  • Optimise Supplier Relationship Management programme to create the optimum environment to support supplier collaboration and innovation to deliver a consistent methodology for engaging and managing suppliers.
  • Develop and deploy supplier management processes and training to Operations/Functions with robust methodology to evidence this.
  • Supporting the Global Procurement Team and the Procurement Excellence Director to ensure that best in class tools, systems, governance, reporting, and Procurement Policy is deployed effectively and efficiently across all assurance activities.
  • Analyse customer contracts and identify supply chain & procurement risks, developing specific assurance programs to address same.
  • Map specific assurance-related requirements, incl. understanding critical customer processes.
  • Reviewing and auditing supplier business continuity plans. 

Minimum Criteria:

  • Extensive and proven experience in either Procurement / Assurance / Legal / Quality roles.
  • Degree educational background in a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g. CIPS) & establish industry network are highly desirable.
  • Strong business acumen, with strong negotiation and contracting skills.
  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to connect with a diverse group of stakeholders, at multiple levels within the company using a variety of formats, presentations, emails, leading meetings, face to face, etc.
  • Proven experience of leading a Supplier Relationship Management program.
  • Experience with leading P2P software; Coupa experience highly desirable
