An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced trade qualified Electrician on a full-time 2:1 roster – FIFO Perth to Karratha.

Duties:

  • Responsible for maintaining, village accommodation units, village dining and kitchen facilities, ancillary buildings, including, wet mess, gym, retail outlets.
  • Repair and maintenance of single phase and 3 phase power, general lighting and power supply
  • Statutory testing and tagging of electrical appliances, both single phase and 3 phase
  • Responsible for all electrical and statutory compliance on non-process infrastructure
  • Perform and manage preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs on electrical infrastructure
  • Investigation of electrical failures, analysis and recommendation for rectification
  • Undertake new minor electrical installations
  • Attend to urgent requests at site outside of normal working hours
  • Responsibility for maintaining appropriate stock levels of parts and equipment to ensure the smooth supply to the electrical department

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Unrestricted A Class Electrical Workers License
  • Sound knowledge of the Mines Safety & Inspection Act/Regulation, AS3000, codes of practice and associated regulatory standards pertaining to electrical work
  • Demonstrated electrical installation/project management experience
  • Previous experience with CMMS systems
  • Previous experience working in a facilities maintenance environment involving large volumes of assets and programmed servicing schedules
  • WA Construction Industry Awareness “White” Card
