Our team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of FIFO Retail and Tavern Manager at one of our client’s remote mining sites, employed on a 2:1 roster on a full time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality manager with previous experience with FIFO work or someone looking to make the change of lifestyle.

The ideal applicant should be able to demonstrate strong leadership with effective influencing and communication skills.  The successful candidate should be ambitious, enjoy a challenge and have a strong administrative background including experience with: computerised register systems and electronic buying systems.

The Position:

• Managing all aspects of front of house operations including staff supervision
• Manage the service of food and beverage within the Facility
• Manage payroll/labour to ensure sufficient service coverage
• Ensure cleaning and maintenance of the outlet, work areas, utensils and other materials used by the tavern
• Manage the daily revenue to ensure in line with budget and forecasts
• Full working knowledge of all computer systems used in the F&B operation and Cashiers Functions
• Plan and implement service initiatives
• Building customer and client relationships
• Stock control, rotation and rostering

Minimum Criteria:

• Previous experience managing a FIFO Tavern is ideal
• At least 2 years Food and Beverage Management experience
• Approved Managers Card
• Current RSA
• Great customer service skills
• Applicants must have an unrestricted C class license, a current police clearance and be prepared to undergo and pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen, at their own expense.
