Our team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Catering Manager in our Resources Team in the Pilbara on a FIFO basis.

You will be responsible for the entire Catering function both, back of house and front of house, across the village; you will oversee all outlets, balancing guest expectations, employee needs and profitability

Recognition for our returning guests is paramount, you will strive to meet and exceed our guests’ and associates expectations. You will be responsible for leading the onsite Catering team in professional guest protocols through onsite training & coaching our staff to success.

You will need an eye for detail, creative flair and confidence to deal with any guest requests.

Pre requisites to be successful in this role:

Demonstrated previous Catering Experience not less than 3 years

Exceptional Customer Service and Leadership skills

Micros experience preferred but not essential 

Proficiency with Word & Excel

Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to thrive under pressure and juggling multiple priorities.

Flexibility of work hours

Current Police Clearance

C Class Driver’s License

Demonstrated ability to control the department budget

Key Responsibility:

Manage in line with budget - the food cost and expenses as per the onsite contract scope under the executive chefs guidance

Maintain food costs at budgeted levels by careful ordering, preparation, service and storage of food product utilising ISS supply and ordering programs

Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all clients and guests

Assist the executive chef with rostering in line with scope manning guide

Assist in the observation of and implementation of allergy awareness systems

Follow company health & safety procedures and policies

As you will be in constant contact with senior executives and external representatives, you will display polished presentation and communication abilities.
