An exciting opportunity is available for a Permanent Full Time Facilities Assistant who will provide excellent and efficient customer service whilst managing the delivery of the mailroom function for our Client located in North Rydes Sydney.

The successful candidate should demonstrate first class customer service skills and be able to build a strong working relationship with our client. The ability to maintain a professional attitude and image when under pressure is essential for this role.

General responsibilities will include:

  • Provide outstanding service to all visitors, clients and tenants of the building
  • Effective management of all inbound and outbound mail, packages and other sundry items
  • Liaise with Australia Post and Courier services as required for effective and efficient service delivery
  • Maintain Mailroom and Storage areas in safe, clean and orderly manner
  • Prioritise, action and follow through all work orders and service requests to achieve agreed KPI's
  • Manage and maintain asset registers and maintenance plans as required to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, codes and standards
  • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly walk through of the office to ensure safe, clean and organised office environment, and stationary stock is maintained

     

    To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in Facility Management, Asset Management or related field
  • Minimum 2 years administration experience in an operational office environment
  • Exceptional communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Excellent Customer service skills and the ability to deal positively with difficult situations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn systems quickly
  • Ability to deliver results under pressure
  • Demonstrated experience within high volume administration
