Our team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of RTO Administration & Traineeship Coordinator at our Murarrie Office, Brisbane, employed on a fulltime basis.

 The Position:

Responsible for coordinating all RTO administrative duties in relation to national traineeships and student management across all ISS divisions nationally. The role will ensure all traineeship administrative and operational tasks are completed in an efficient manner with accurate detail. This will include managing RTO enrolments, coordinating eligibility, managing traineeship incentives, maintaining up to date training records and systems, ensuring training delivery is in line with RTO agreements, providing timely traineeship and student reporting, and engaging effectively with all stakeholders to achieve required outcomes.

Key duties

  • Managing RTO enrolments, student eligibility, student management system data, and reporting.
  • Monitor incentive claims and ensure all claims are lodged within the allowable claim timeframes and paid correctly.
  • Prepare monthly reports for payroll tax and workers compensation and trainee rebates.
  • Assist the RTO Compliance Manager with training course resources and eLearning system management.
  • Maintaining records and systems, ensuring training delivery is in line with agreements, providing timely traineeship reporting and engaging effectively with all stakeholders to achieve required outcomes.
  • Understand and follow the enrolment process for new trainees and fee for service students.
  • Assist in student support activities and LLN assessments as required.

Minimum Criteria:

  • A minimum of 3 years working within a RTO in a senior administration role.
  • Extensive experience managing national traineeships coordination from eligibility & signup, incentive management, trainer and RTO coordination
  • Experience in using a RTO Student Management System such as Axcelerate
  • A high degree of passion for working within a RTO and able to bring your experience to the table as we set up a new RTO structure and continue to drive traineeship student numbers across the business
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with great interpersonal skills
  • Strong Customer Service ethic & skills
  • Experience with State training funding including User Choice, C3G and Smart & Skilled
  • Above average levels of MS Office application skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with Cloud Assess – RTO online eLearning management system
  • Highly desired to have a good understanding of the Standards for RTO’s 2015 and hold a TAE40110/16 or be interested to attain this qualification.
  • VET Certificate/Diploma qualifications in Business/Administration or Management
